An iconic lamp designed by Louis Weisdorf for the Danish lamp manufacturer Lyfa. 1960s ,early version .
The lamp is like a 3D puzzle, with eighteen identical metal elements, each a long punched and curved piece that fits into the next, and the next, until a cylinder is formed. Light comes through small gaps between the pieces, revealing the tones inside while filtering the light.
